So, I crashed at Rainbow for a night and it was super close to the ferry terminal. Beds comfy and breakfast was surprisingly decent with eggs made to order. Just don’t expect luxury. it’s more of a budget stopover vibe.

The location is a major convenience, just a short walk to the ferry terminal, perfect for travelers heading out. the air conditioning worked well once I was moved to a different room, which made my stay much more comfortable.
Unfortunately, the initial room I was given had a distinct unpleasant odor and the shower hadn't seen much love—it was rather grimy with brown stains. The bed wasn’t exactly plush either. more like a slab of concrete that kept me awake at night, and I had to ask for cleaner sheets as the original ones were questionable at best. On top of that, no mosquito netting made me an easy target for the local bugs, resulting in a few itchy wake-up calls. I hoped for better, but it fell short.

The air conditioning in my room had a few hiccups initially, requiring some adjustments before it worked effectively.

Exploring Dar es Salaam 🌍
My deluxe room was spick and span—comfy bed, lekker shower with hot water and cold, all that jazz. Plus, the chommies at the reception were super helpful when I needed tips for local eats. Buying brekkie was easy, sweet just around the corner.
The brekkie buffet was just ok, nothing to write home about.

The staff demonstrated commendable hospitality, showing genuine care and attentiveness throughout my stay. the room I received had a noticeable odor, and the air conditioning didn't function properly until I was moved to a different room. Breakfast options were limited, with a repetitive menu during my stay, leading to less variety than I'd hoped for.
